Supplements are all the rage right now, but, if you're like me, you've tried some recommendations and noticed absolutely no difference. So, I want to share with you the supplements I've tried that have made such a difference, I added them to my daily routine.
Each supplement I'm sharing has done something worth noticing for my wellbeing. It can be hard to implement these kinds of nutrients into your daily diet, so sometimes a supplement just makes everything easier.
Magnesium for Sleep, Muscle Relaxation, and Anxiety
To me, magnesium is a miracle supplement. This is the first supplement I remember taking and experienced the benefits clear as day.
Magnesium is a mineral that is crucial for muscles, nerves, bones, and blood sugar levels. So, clearly, it's important. But, the major perk I've noticed is the relaxation that comes along with it.
Take magnesium at night, and you'll sleep like a baby. It relaxes your muscles and helps keep you calm, so of course it promotes the most peaceful sleep you'll ever experience. If you think I'm exaggerating, just give it a try and see for yourself.
There's a few different types and ways you can supplement magnesium. Personally, I just take a magnesium glycinate capsule, but you can find which kind is best for your goals and routine!
Probiotics for Gut Health, De-bloating, and Skin
I tried a probiotic supplement for a week, thinking I might not notice a huge difference. But, I was wrong. After the first few days I noticed incredible differences. We are often unaware that so many issues come from your gut health, so adding a probiotic can have so many benfeits.
Probiotics can help with so many issues in the body. To name a few: skin issues, digestion, bloating, and heart health.
You can find probiotics at local grocery stores or pharmacies, or here's a link to a good one from Amazon.
Ashwagandha for Stress, Sleep, and Focus
I first got introduced to ashwagandha when a friend of mine gave me it for a gift because of how much it helped her. I tried it. and ever since I've been keeping it in my supplement lineup.
Studies show that Ashwagandha helps lower cortisol levels, which is the stress hormone in our bodies. Along with helping stress, it can sharpen focus and memory, and relieve anxiety, often turning into improved sleep.
This ashwagandha supplement has been my favorite. You just add a scoop to a smoothie, oatmeal, a drink, or even bake with it. I highly recommend giving this one a try.
There's the three supplements that I have noticed the biggest difference with. Try one, or all, and see if you notice a huge difference in your well-being, like I have! Let me know your results!
